New cover, new low price, same great story. I've just reissued Beloved Enemy on Amazon and it should be up on Nook and the other ebook publishers shortly. Only $3.99 for the ebook version, available immediately. See the book page for more information.
I am thrilled to announce that my book Beloved Stranger is a finalist in the Futuristic, Fantasy, and Paranormal (FF&P) chapter contest known as the Prism. This was in the futuristic category, which makes sense since Beloved Stranger is one of my futuristic Gaian stories. I've finaled in this contest before and they give you a lovely little triangle pin to wear on your badge. It is so cool to have another pin to add to my collection.
I just want to do a brief update from the RT convention where I'm having a fabulous time with fans and fellow authors. It the end of my second day here and i have some news to upload.
First of all, in appreciation of the fact that my swag is pretty much gone I've decided to give my fans a real treat. For the next couple of weeks I am putting special pricing on some of my work as a thank you. The Girl In The Box, my Gaian short story, is marked FREE at All Romance Ebooks. In addition, my sexy story about history's most self-centered man finding real love, Violet Among The Roses, is 99 cents. That's right, an entire novel for less than one dollar, at Amazon and All Romance Ebooks.
My Shrinky-dink book-cover charms have been very popular at the convention so I'm putting a link here to the video I shot while making them. I don't show the entire process but it gives a pretty good description of some critical points. I purchased the ink-jet printable plastic from http://www.shrinkydinks.com (The Magical World of Shrinky Dinks). I then used an image editor to size the book covers to a 1.5 inch width and lightening it enough so that when the plastic shrank the resulting cover would be close to the original. I found increasing brightness by 70% and upping the contrast by 11 gave me a consistantly good result. The video of the process is on Youtube.
April 30 - May 5 I'll be at the RT Booklovers Convention in Kansas City, where I'll be participating in a number of events. I've updated my events calendar with when and where I'll be.
If any of my fans happen to be around, I'd be thrilled to meet you in person. Mention you saw my website and I'll even have a special gift!
As my contracts with New Concepts Pulishing have been expiring I've been taking the books and republishing them with fresh editing as needed and brand new covers. This is the one for Promises To Keep, my first Gaian novel, and one I'm immensely proud of. It is rolling out to the various ebook distributors where it will be sold for $2.99, a uniform price that many readers like.
My free short story, The Girl In The Box, has won a prize: http://kathysreviewcorner.com/corners/1301Gems.html
Kathy named my short story one of her "gems" of 2012. In honor of the awards she's holding a drawing for people who join her newsletter: http://kathysreviewcorner.com/newsletter.html
My prize for the drawing is a print copy of Promises To Keep, the first of the Gaian novels so be sure to join her newsletter.
The holidays are here, people are spending money on all sorts of gifts and so to help with a little holiday cheer, I'm making The Girl In The Box free. Get it today at your favorite ebook store.
