At the last RT Booklover's Convention in Las Vegas the crew of Linnea Sinclair's Intergalactic Bar and Grille gave away an anthology of science fiction stories. The stories were set in any of our worlds, but there had to be a casino on a space station in the story.
Of course I set my story in my Gaian world and invented the space station Paradise (which is anything but a paradise) and its slightly sleezy casino complete with a card dealer named Calli Lisole. Which is the main attraction for Captain Stanus Rendon, who always sits at her table when he's on station making a delivery. The trader is an unmarried Gaian man with no intention of attaching to the pretty little Calli, but playing cards with her feeds a desire he's having trouble ignoring.
Calli likes to think of Stanus as Mr. ’tall, dark, and totally-unattainable’ and the petite blonde has no use for a man who seems to have no use for her but to deal cards, so the next time he shows up she banishes him from her table.
However when a pirate crew known as The Horde attacks the station and Stanus actually returns to the casino to rescue her, she's given something else to think about.
A number of my older titles are no longer available due to the publisher surrendering the rights back for them. My plan is to make them available again very soon but in the meantime they may no longer have buy links on the book pages. I hope to have everything straightened out soon.
My futuristic menage story "Lady's Choice" will be returning with my new "sexy" pen name JL Miller, currently up for presale at Amazon. It is being released in a 99 cent paranormal anthology along with some heavy hitters in the romance biz, Ann Jacobs, Charlee Boyd-Compo, and Jan Springer. Looking forward to seeing this anthology spike the charts!
All three of my holiday romances are 99 cents this week and next until the end of the year, including Christmas With Sarah, Ghosts Of Christmas Past, and Candy Cane Kisses and Enchanted Embraces.
Today is the release of the ten person box set, Candy Cane Kisses and Enchanted Embraces. I blogged about it and we have this cool graphic as well. Check out the Facebook event we have today as well.
With just two months before Christmas I've released my popular holiday novel "Christmas With Sarah" with a beautiful new cover and a nice low price. I wrote this novel at a fairly low point in my life, during the Dot-com bust of 2001, when the software industry that had given me so much hope for the future was undergoing hard times. The original title was "A Man With A Purpose" and the story focuses on my heroine Molly's requirement that the next man she'd fall in love with had to be more than a handsome face but a guy who could make a difference in the world. At first it doesn't appear my hero Greg is that kind of guy, but as Molly's boss the wise Hannah puts it, "Don't judge a man by his leather jacket."
In celebration of this new release of one of my favorite titles I've made it $2.99 for the next few weeks so if you haven't read this classic novel of mine, be sure to pick it up with its shiny new cover. It is available at most of the major ebook retailers.
